A roof collapsed in Orangi Town, killing a mother and three children: Karachi

A mother and three children were crushed to death when the roof of a house collapsed in Orangi Town area of ​​Karachi’s western district.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police, West Karachi, Sahai Aziz, the incident took place at 15th Street, MPR Colony, Qasba Colony.

According to SSP Sahai Aziz, rain water from last night had accumulated in the population and water had allegedly entered the house.

Rasool Saeed, the owner of the house, and other family members came out of the house due to water entering the house. However, Naseeb Hawa and her children were sleeping in the room when the house collapsed.

According to police, the incident took place in the early hours of the morning. Upon receiving the report, police, rangers and rescue agencies rushed to the spot and started removing debris from the collapsed house.

According to police, the bodies of four people, including Naseeb Hawa and their three children, were initially found in the wreckage.

According to SSP Sahai Aziz, a 10-year-old child was also pulled out of the wreckage with injuries.

The four dead and injured children have been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital by ambulances.

According to police, an investigation has been launched into the incident.
