Accused shifted to Lahore for polygraph test: Student abuse case

Mufti Shahnawaz, a student and accused in a rape case in Rawalpindi, was shifted to Lahore for a polygraph test.

A 16-year-old student was allegedly raped two weeks ago at a madrassa in Pir Wadhai.

It may be recalled that the court in Rawalpindi had yesterday granted a four-day physical remand to Mufti Shahnawaz, an accused involved in the alleged abuse and torture of a madrassa student.

The accused was produced in the area magistrate’s court.
