Babar Azam is close to breaking Chris Gayle’s world record

National cricket team captain Babar Azam came close to breaking Chris Gayle’s world record for the fastest 7,000 runs in T20 cricket.

Babar Azam needs 121 runs in seven innings to break Chris Gayle’s record of 7,000 runs. Babar Azam has so far scored 6,879 runs in 184 innings

Chris Gayle, on the other hand, completed 7,000 runs in 192 innings in T20 cricket.

In international cricket, the captain of the national cricket team, Babar Azam, is the fastest batsman to score 3,000, 4,000 and 6,000 runs.

Among Asian batsmen, he is one of the fastest cricketers to score 1,000 and 2,000 runs.

Chris Gayle set the record for the fastest 7,000 runs in T20 cricket on April 11, 2015, which no one has been able to break so far.
