Australia piled up 62 runs, Bangladesh won the match and the series

Bangladesh beat Australia by 60 runs in the fifth T20 International, with Shakib Al Hasan named man of the match and man of the series.

The last match of the series between Bangladesh and Australia in Dhaka was low scoring.

In which Bangladesh scored 122 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs, in response, the Australian team piled up only 62 runs.

Mohammad Naeem (23) and Mahmudullah (19) were the standout batsmen for Bangladesh, while Nathan Ellis and Dan Christian of Australia took two wickets each.

In reply, chasing a target of 123, the Australian team returned to the pavilion in T20 with their lowest T20 score of 62 runs in 13.4 overs.

With the exception of Australia’s Matthew Wade and Ben Dermott, who could not enter the double-figure of 17 runs, one wicket after another fell in front of the Bangladeshi bowling line.

All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan took 4 wickets and Saifuddin took 3 wickets.

Bangladesh won the series four, one to one, the first victory of the series against Australia in any format.
