Barriers erected in Haryana to stop farmers’ march towards Deputy Commissioner’s Office: India

In Haryana, Indian farmers marched towards the Deputy Commissioner’s office. According to Indian media, Indian police and security personnel were deployed to stop the farmers.

The Indian media further said that barricades have been set up at various places in Haryana district and mobile phone, internet and SMS service has also been suspended in five districts of Haryana. 

Indian farmers are protesting against the August 28 lathi charge in Karnal, Indian media reported.
