Belgium announces ship to evacuate Afghans stranded in Afghanistan
The Belgian government has announced plans to send a ship to evacuate its citizens stranded in Afghanistan.
A statement from Belgian Prime Minister Alexander de Cruz’s social media account said on Twitter that the cabinet had approved sending four ships for the evacuation mission.
The planes will return with 50 families and other European nationals stranded in Afghanistan.
