Belgium’s first Asia Cup cricket tournament kicks off on August 13

The first Asia Cup cricket tournament in Belgium starts on August 13.

Five teams, including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan, will take part in the tournament.

In this regard, the unveiling ceremony of the trophy of the tournament was held in the greenery of Atomium, a well-known tourist center of Brussels, the European capital.

The captains of the teams participating in the tournament attended the unveiling of the trophy with kits made for their teams.

On the occasion, the President of the Belgian Cricket Association, Umair Butt, while congratulating the organizers of the tournament, said that cricket is not as popular in Europe as in other parts of the world.

Holding such tournaments will help create interest in the sport among locals in Europe.

Remember that all the players participating in this tournament belong to the overseas community of these countries living in Europe.
