The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said that the England cricket team will play T20 matches in Rawalpindi before the World Cup.
According to the PCB, the England men’s and women’s teams will arrive in Islamabad on October 9, with Owen Morgan leading the men’s team and Heather Knight leading the women’s team.
The England team will play two T20 matches in Rawalpindi on October 13 and 14, after which the English team will leave Islamabad for Dubai on October 15, while the women’s cricket team will stay in Islamabad until October 21 for three ODIs.
The PCB said that the Pak-England women’s ODI matches would be played on October 19, 17 and 21.
The cricket board said that all the matches between Pakistan and England were to be played at the National Stadium in Karachi, however, the matches have been shifted to Rawalpindi due to operational and logistical reasons.
