The cities in which the NCOC imposed strict restrictions are Islamabad, Haripur, Malakand, Mansehra, Swabi, DI Khan, Swat, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali, Rahim Yar Khan, Khanewal, Faisalabad, Bhakkar, Gujarat. , Gujranwala, Multan, Bahawalpur, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sialkot and Sheikhupura.

The National Command and Operations Center says the review of the sanctions will take place on September 15. Until then, the sanctions will remain in place.

The NCOC had on September 3 imposed strict sanctions on about two dozen cities in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in addition to Islamabad, in view of the steady rise in cases during the fourth wave of the corona virus.

The NCOC said that additional restrictions would be imposed in selected districts with more cases from September 4 to 12. The new SOPs announced in these areas are as follows.

Schools, colleges and universities remain closed.

Inter-district transport will be banned.
