French paraglider sets new world paragliding record at 8,407 meters


French paraglider Antoine Gerrard has set a new world record by paragliding at an altitude of 8,407 meters.

The Alpine Club of Pakistan has confirmed that French paraglider Antoine Gerrard paraglided at an altitude of 8,407 meters after heading Broad Peak in mid-July.

This is the second time he has set a record for paragliding from a high place in Pakistan.

Earlier, Antoine Gerrard had paraglided on Broad Peak in 2018 at an altitude of 8,156 meters.
