Gaddafi’s son Saadi Gaddafi released from prison

Former Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi’s son Saadi Gaddafi has been released from prison. Saadi Gaddafi is also reported to have left Libya for Turkey.

According to Libyan officials, Saadi Gaddafi was released from prison after years of court proceedings.

It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. However, Gaddafi has reportedly left for Turkey.

It should be noted that Muammar Gaddafi’s son in Niger was handed over to Libya in 2014, Saadi Gaddafi was imprisoned in Tripoli.

He was charged with crimes against protesters and the 2005 assassination of Libyan football coach Bashir al-Rayani.
