Haji Mohammad Idrees appointed acting Governor of the Central Bank of Afghanistan

Haji Muhammad Idrees has been appointed acting governor of the Central Bank of Afghanistan. 

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said in a statement that the leadership of the Islamic Emirate had given Haji Idrees the responsibility of the Central Bank of Afghanistan. 

The Taliban spokesman added that the purpose of the appointment was to organize government institutions and the banking system and solve public problems.
