Health workers ignored in civil award, Pakistan Medical Association expresses grief

The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) has lamented the neglect of health workers in the Civil Awards. 

In this regard, the PMA says that health workers have been serving the nation since the Corona epidemic.

The association said the frontline workers risked their lives and the lives of their families.

The PMA said that 221 doctors have been martyred from Corona so far and the medical community was disappointed that they were ignored in the civil awards.

The association said doctors who received the civil awards last year were considering returning the awards in protest.
