Hearing of case against Shahbaz, Hamza adjourned till September 4

The Lahore court has adjourned the hearing of the bail plea in the alleged financial scandal against Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz till September 4 due to non-appearance of counsel.

PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shahbaz appeared in the Banking Crimes Court. Police outside the court along with PML-N leaders stopped the lawyers from entering.

Lawyers protested on the occasion, PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb was also present outside the court.

Shahbaz Sharif’s lawyer Amjad Pervez did not appear in the court today. His junior lawyers requested the court that this is the first request for adjournment from us. Today’s hearing should be adjourned. The court adjourned the hearing till September 4.

After appearing in the Banking Court, Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz left the court.

It should be noted that Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz appeared in the court on the expiry of their interim bail in the FIA ​​case on charges of money laundering through sugar mills.

The banking court had summoned the lawyers of the parties for discussion in today’s hearing. Prior to the hearing, the police had closed the adjoining roads for security and had also called for water cannons to deal with any emergency.
