Kabul Airport closed indefinitely for commercial flights, Afghan Civil Aviation

Afghan Civil Aviation says Kabul Airport has been closed indefinitely for commercial flights.

Seeing the changing situation in Afghanistan, Afghan Civil Aviation issued a notice.

Afghan Civil Aviation says Kabul’s airspace has been closed to commercial flights, and Kabul’s airspace will remain open only to military aircraft.

 Civil aviation says Kabul’s airspace will remain closed for incoming flights.

Afghan Civil Aviation added that transit flights through Afghan airspace would also not be allowed.

Sources say the PIA flight to Tashkent will now use Chinese air routes.
