The Kabul Airport, which was closed due to uncertainty following the Taliban’s entry into Kabul, has been reopened to civilian air traffic.
According to the US Defense Forces Senate, Hamid Karzai Airport in Kabul is safe, and Kabul Airport is operational for all civilian air traffic.
Gen. Frank McKenzie of the U.S. Defense Forces says the safety of U.S. citizens is a top priority right now.
The commander of the Senate, General Frank McKenzie, also met with the Taliban in Doha.
During the meeting, the US commander warned the Taliban against interfering in the US withdrawal.
