Medical students protest against NLE exams

In Lahore, young doctors and students of various medical universities protested against the NLE exams. The police charged tear gas shelling and sticks on protesters to eliminate protest.

Young doctors and students from various medical universities in Punjab took to the streets against the National Licensing Examination and protested outside the Barkat Market examination center.

The protesters tried to enter the examination center, so the police present there. During the dust pale, the police charged the stick and tear gas shelling. As a result, the health of many protesters deteriorated.

The protesters said that NLE exams were imposed. They are being tortured for opposition.

Police say doctors protested in misunderstanding. They were not charged with shelling or sticking.

The protesters said that at present they have ended the protest. If the government does not reverse the decision, they will once again take to the streets.
