Misbah and Waqar Younis resign from coaching posts

Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis resigned as head coaches and bowling coaches.

According to the PCB, former cricketers Thaqleen Mushtaq and Abdul Razzaq will be the interim coaches in the New Zealand series.

Misbah-ul-Haq, the head coach of the national cricket team, said in his decision to resign that he had reviewed his performance during the quarantine in Jamaica for the past one year.

After reviewing, he concluded that he was no longer in the frame of mind to face future challenges. Misbah also made it clear in his statement that he knew this was not the right time to resign, but that there were more challenges. Can’t fight
