No-confidence motion is not possible without a deal: Shahid Khaqan Abbasi

Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that no-confidence motion cannot be possible without a deal.

Talking to media at Parliament House, the PML-N senior vice president said that all the parties in the PDM would participate in the Karachi meeting.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that our position from day one is that if journalists start disappearing, it is very painful.

“We have been saying since day one that the issue of missing persons needs to be resolved, there should be no missing persons in a democracy,” he said.

The former prime minister said that if the no-confidence motion is interested, it should start from the Senate. The Senate will find out what the reality of the no-confidence motion is in Pakistan.

He further said that in a country which does not function in accordance with the constitution, there is no no-confidence motion.
