North Korea tests ballistic missiles despite international sanctions

Pyongyang: South Korea has accused North Korea of ​​testing ballistic missiles despite international sanctions.

According to the International News Agency, the South Korean military has accused North Korea of ​​testing ballistic missiles in violation of UN sanctions. The United States has also launched an investigation into South Korea’s claims.

A statement from South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said North Korea fired a pair of nuclear-armed ballistic missiles into the sea off the east coast.
Japan’s Coast Guard has also claimed that ballistic missiles may have been seen falling outside its special economic zone. The missile test is provocative and a threat to peace and security in the region.

North Korea has not denied or confirmed the allegations, while South Korean President Park Geun-hye and Japanese Prime Minister Tony Blair have convened a meeting of their respective Security Councils on the new situation.
