It should be noted that the women’s singles final of the US Open tennis tournament held yesterday was won by Emma Rado Kano, 18, of Great Britain.

The women’s singles final was played for the first time between two young players in which Rado Kano defeated Leila Fernandez 4-6, 3-6 in straight sets.
