Pakistan accepts US military request
The United States and its allies have asked Pakistan for help with a final withdrawal from Afghanistan by August 31, which Pakistan has accepted.
According to sources, the request was made by the US military and NATO, Pakistan accepted the US request.
According to Civil Aviation Authority sources, flights carrying people from Afghanistan will also reach Karachi and Peshawar from where they will be transferred to the United States and other Western countries.
Five initial flights to evacuate US aid workers from Afghanistan will land in Karachi, with the Sindh government arranging accommodation for those brought to Afghanistan from Afghanistan.
Sources said that due to the rush in Islamabad, it has been decided to land the planes in Karachi.
