Pakistan wants to boost trade ties with Russia

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Pakistan wants to increase trade relations with Russia.

According to details, the Russian President had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Imran Khan in which the two leaders discussed the changing situation in Afghanistan while also discussing bilateral relations between Pakistan and Russia.

During the telephone call, the two leaders agreed to work for peace and stability in the region through the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed satisfaction over the enhanced bilateral relations between Pakistan and Russia, while the Prime Minister also expressed satisfaction over the cooperation and high-level contacts with Russia in various fields.

Imran Khan also said that Pakistan wants to increase trade relations with Russia, wants cooperation with Russia in the field of energy.

The Prime Minister apprised of the role of Pakistan for peace in Afghanistan and said that a peaceful and stable Afghanistan was essential for Pakistan and the region.

Imran Khan said that protection of rights of Afghans, political settlement is the best solution for security. The international community must play its part in helping Afghans.

Prime Minister Imran Khan also said that the international community must play a positive role in helping Afghanistan improve its economy and humanity.

During the telephone call, Prime Minister Imran Khan also invited the Russian President to visit Pakistan.
