Pakistani family home attacked in Canada, youth killed

A house belonging to a Pakistani family was attacked in Hamilton, Canada, killing a Pakistani youth and injuring his brother.

Police said that reports of firing were received at 3 pm, after which police reached the spot and found two persons injured.

Police said the two injured brothers were taken to hospital but one died of his injuries.

Police say the victim’s father, Faqir Ali, was abducted and left injured six hours later, who was taken to hospital.

No motive has been identified for the attack.
