Plane loaded with Green Line buses reached Karachi

A plane loaded with buses has arrived in Pakistan for Karachi’s Green Line bus project.

According to Karachi Port Trust (KPT) officials, the Chinese ship ‘Fan Shin’ with 40 buses has entered Pakistani waters.

The second batch of 40 more buses of Karachi Green Line Bus Project will reach Pakistan in the first week of October.

On the other hand, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Federal Minister Asad Umar, Ali Zaidi and others will participate in the ceremony held at Karachi Port today.

In the first phase, green line buses will be run from Surjani Town to Exhibition Chowrangi.

Green Line buses will have reserved seats for women and people with disabilities.

80 buses have been allocated for the rehabilitation of the first phase of the Green Line project.

Federal Minister Asad Omar has already given the good news to the people of Karachi to run green line buses by the end of next month (October).
