PSX 100 Index lost 226 points

The last day of the business week was negative on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). The 100 Index lost 226 points to close at 47,136.

The 100 Index traded in the 521-point band on the trading day. The lowest level of the index was 46,871.

380 million shares worth over Rs. 13 billion were traded in the stock market today.

The market capitalization of PSX has come down by Rs 34 billion to Rs 8,250 billion today.
