Rocket attack near Kabul airport kills 2 ISIS members

Two were killed and three were injured in a rocket attack in the Afghan capital, Kabul.

Reuters claims in its report that the United States targeted a car in Kabul carrying suicide bombers who were on their way to attack Kabul airport.

On the other hand, according to AFP, an explosion was heard near Kabul airport. Initially, it was said that it was a rocket attack on a house.

Earlier, the US embassy issued another alert for an attack on Kabul airport, instructing its citizens to stay away from the airport.

Authorities say U.S. citizens should leave Kabul Airport Gates immediately. There is a clear threat of an attack on Kabul Airport. Citizens should not approach the south and northwest gates of the airport.

On the other hand, the Taliban had also expressed fears of an explosion at Kabul Airport.

It may be recalled that 175 people, including 13 American soldiers, were killed in a suicide bombing at Kabul Airport on August 27, while more than 100 wounded were being treated in hospitals.
