SBP loses 4. 4.88 million in foreign exchange reserves

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has said that foreign exchange reserves declined by 4. 4.88 million in the week ended August 20.

According to the SBP, the country’s foreign exchange reserves stood at 24.619 billion as of August 20.

According to the statement, SBP’s reserves fell by 4. 47 million to 17 17.57 billion.

Similarly, the reserves of commercial banks declined by 18 1.8 million to 7. 7.04 billion.

The SBP said that the amount received from the IMF will be included in the reserves on September 2. The IMF has received 2. 2.75 billion in SDR.
