Shahid Afridi hints at retirement from PSL

Former captain and star all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi has also hinted at retiring from the Pakistan Super League (PSL), saying that the next PSL may be his last. 

He expressed these views while talking to media in Karachi in which he also discussed various issues related to cricket. 

Shahid Afridi said that if any system is to be changed, not only faces should be changed, the slogan of change should be from the grass root level.

“If I’m still playing cricket, it’s because of my fans,” the all-rounder said. 

The former captain also said that he has stopped playing cricket due to the biosecure bubble.

Shahid Afridi said that the bio-secure bubble becomes very difficult for the players, maybe the next PSL will be my last PSL.

“I want to play for Quetta Gladiators last season,” he said.
