Taliban leader Abbas Stanikzai meets Pakistani ambassador

Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, deputy head of the Afghan Taliban’s political office in Doha, Qatar, met with Pakistani Ambassador to Qatar Syed Ahsan Raza Shah at the level of a delegation.

Taliban spokesman Sohail Shaheen said in a statement.

He said that during the meeting of Abbas Stanekzai with the Pakistani Ambassador in Doha, issues related to reconstruction of Afghanistan, facilitation of movement of people in Torkham and Spin Boldak were also discussed.

Taliban spokesman Sohail Shaheen also said the two sides discussed the current situation in Afghanistan, humanitarian aid, bilateral relations based on mutual interest and respect.
