The accountability court set a date for the indictment of Asif Ali Zardari

The accountability court has fixed the date of indictment in the case of 8 billion suspicious transactions against former president Asif Ali Zardari.

Islamabad accountability court has fixed September 29 as the date of indictment of Asif Ali Zardari in the case of suspicious transactions of Rs 8 billion. The court has summoned the former president to indict him.

The court has dismissed the case of Mushtaq Ahmed, the alleged frontman of Asif Ali Zardari.

Mushtaq Ahmed was summoned by the accountability court through an advertisement. The accused was given a deadline to appear on September 9, but he still did not appear.

The court also ordered to initiate the process of confiscating Mushtaq Ahmed’s identity card and confiscating his property.

The Islamabad Accountability Court has fixed the date of conviction in the written order of the last hearing.
