Those who do not have NIC are being given single dose, Sindh Health Minister said

Sindh Health Minister Dr Azra Pechoho has said that the corona epidemic could be life threatening for those who do not get vaccinated. We are giving a single dose to those who do not have a national identity card.

Addressing a function in Karachi, Sindh Health Minister Dr Azra Pechoho said that 90 per cent of the people who come to hospitals due to corona have not been vaccinated.

Azra Pechoho said that it is not correct to say that there is a shortage of space in the hospitals, one can wait for the position of the health department.

Sindh Health Minister Dr. Azra Pechoho further said that the target is to vaccinate 300,000 people in Sindh in 24 hours.

Dr. Azra Pechoho said that those who do not have an identity card are being given a single dose, the vaccine is also being given on personal guarantee or relative’s identity card.

“We have asked the federation to give us more vaccines,” he said.

Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani, who was present on the occasion, said that the Sindh Health Department was very busy and more than 9 million vaccines had been administered in Sindh.
