World’s oldest Indian citizen has died at the age of 116

One of the world’s oldest people died at the age of 116 in Chorachandrapur district of Manipur, India.

He is said to be the world’s oldest living man, although this has not been officially confirmed or acknowledged in the Guinness Book of World Records.

 He was born in 1905 in the Thanlon subdivision of Dillon Village in the Chorachandrapur district.

It should be noted that at present, the record of the world’s longest living man and woman is held by 118-year-old Ken Tanaka of Japan.
